One Makeup Palette A Month!

if you know me, you know I love eye shadow! I love all the different colors, textures, forms, and variety that it comes in. Because of that I have amassed somewhat of a collection. Not like any of the beauty vloggers or bloggers that have been doing this for years, and get oodles of things sent to them. Just palettes and single shadows I’ve picked up along my own makeup journey.

I consider my collection to be pretty big for someone who isn’t getting paid or making a job of having some much makeup. I’ve decided that I’m only going to use one palette a month until I actually use one of them up. I usually just grab whatever colors i want to wear that day.

The month of May I’m going to start with my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I feel like this has the perfect colors for spring. It contains 12 colors that all have a rose-gold hue. They come in satin, matte, and shimmer finishes. It will give me a lot of range on different looks I can do. It will also force me to try different eye  shadow applications.

I’m pretty excited to try this out for the rest of the year and see if I actually hit pan on any of my palettes or single eyeshadows. I’ll post the weeks looks along with the other products every day or every other day. This isn’t anything new. But, it’s new to me.

This month I actually challenged myself to not wear any at all until my hooding ceremony for my graduation on April 30th. So almost a full month. I have caught myself looking at my makeup longingly as I’m getting ready for work. I still feel like I killed it on most days. I just don’t want to get so caught up in thinking the only way I can slay the day is with a full face, though it does help.

What’s the longest you’ve gone not wearing any makeup? Leave a comment below I’d love to hear from you.
