One Palette a Month – Aug Beat

Yup I’m back with that monthly palette beat. This month I’ll be using a palette from Wet N Wild. I like how I formatted July’s looks. But I want to be more detailed this month. Anyway, this palette is pretty pigmented. But when I did  the finger swatches some of the colors mainly the darker ones were as pigmented and were kinda patchy. You can work with them easy though to get the opacity that you want.  I’ve heard that some darker colors can be hard to make very pigmented without being patchy. What i like the most were all the unique green shimmery colors that were included .This week those were the colors I wore the most. I couldn’t help it they are soooo pretty and my brush kept wandering to those colors. 

Wet ‘n Wild – Comfort Zone 

I would recommend using a eye shadow primer. The first day I wore it. the color started to fade in my crease. But, after I wore my eye primer it stayed on all day which is usually about 8-9 hour work day.  Unfortunately these colors weren’t given a name. They are just all inclusive as “comfort zone” colors. Which I agree with. These forest green and beige and brown colors remind me of fall. When you can wear more comfy clothes like hoodies and sweaters.

Color corrector: NYX Above & Beyond Full Coverage Concealer Orange 

Foundation: Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr Foundation

Concealer: Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil Crayon, L.A. Colors  Pro – conceal- Chestnut

Powder: NYX HD Studio Photogenic Finishing Powder, Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder

Blush: NYX blush – Cocoa, Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush – Plum Wine

What I used on my eyes: 

Palette: Wet ‘n Wild – Comfort palette

Eyebrows: NYX Micro Brow Pencil (Black), L’oreal Brow Stylist (Medium/Dark)

Eyeliner: L’oreal 24hr Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner (Black), NYX Vinyl Liquid Liner (Black) 

Mascara: Maybelline Lash Stiletto – very black

Eyelashes – Ardell invisible band – demi wispies

What I used on my lips:

Still on my Colourpop obsession but I did use a NYX lip gloss.
