I’ve been thinking of adopting a minimalist lifestyle for quite a while. I recently moved into a new place. Which I was pretty exciting. Until I realized that I might not be getting the roommate that I was excited to have, and the place is way to big for one person. I found this wonderful website that has all the questions and information that anyone who was thinking about becoming a minimalist would ever need.

I have been reading a lot of the articles and the way that people were living their lives before adopting this lifestyle, was how I was starting to feel living in this big house that everyone was impressed with. But, after living here for a few months. I was no longer impressed with it. The things that really stood out to me were by letting go of things, you could find more time to explore your dreams, and live in the moment. Packing my things up when I was moving, I had gotten rid of things. After moving in I realized that it wasn’t enough. I still had a huge accumulation of things that I could have given away or just tossed.
One of the articles that really called out to me was this one . I don’t think I have any friends who would do this challenge. So, I’m just going to do it myself. It doesn’t seem to hard right now thinking about it. I’m sure by the middle of the month I’ll be having a hard time parting with certain things.
If you follow me on instagram, twitter, or snap chat (sparkles4muah). I’ll be posting everyday the items that I’ll be getting rid of. If you want to get in on the game too. Just leave a comment below. I’ll do another post at the end of the month showing everything that I’ve gotten rid of. As well as how long I was able to do it for. I’m pretty excited to try this out.
