Thanks to influenster I was given the chance to review a number of Lancome’s products. I was ecstatic to be chosen to give these products my honest review. Especially after I have already used Lancome’s Tient Idole Liquid Foundation. I’m a huge fan so when I was given these products I thought “Oh yes! the motherload!” The products that I received are listed below:
Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation Stick
Teint Idole Ultra Wear Comouflage concealer
Click & Glow Illuminating Skin Highlighter
Le Metallique
My first impression of the Foundation stick was not a good one. I used my e.l.f primer and applied what I thought was a generous amount of foundation on my face. It gave a light coverage, which personally is not my cup of tea. Mostly, because of hyper-pigmentation and an uneven skin tone. I usually wear medium to full. So I applied another layer and it gave good coverage after that. It did also have a very, very faint scent.
My next step was the concealer which kind of gave the impression of the Tarte Maracuja concealer. Except without the extra thick consistency and more workable formula. I didn’t have to use much to put on application under my eyes, forehead, chin, and nose. It gave great coverage for all areas.
I used my Urban Decay Naked Loose Setting Powder then applied the Click and Glow Illuminating Skin Highlighter on my upper cheeks. One click was enough to apply my upper cheekbones and brow bones. I liked that it gave a subtle highlight as I’m not so into the trend of over highlighting.
After finishing the rest of my makeup I completed my look with the Le Metallique in the shade mirrored nude. It’s a beautiful shade and had a think consistency. It is a lip gloss so the color doesn’t have full opacity. They only thing I didn’t like was it had a sticky consistency. The smell was the same as most lip glosses with that plastic like cardboard scent.
I was getting ready for work and wasn’t able to snap pictures of the finished look. It started out great. But, by the time I went to lunch at 11:30. My oily skin had eaten up most of the foundation and I looked like a “shiny new penny,” as my mom would say. Though my under eyes didn’t seem to have creased. Every where on my face was oily as shit! Even after setting. I didn’t do my go to milk of magnesia and color corrector. I wanted to see how it would work out. The results were not the worst. But, definitely not shout to the top of my lungs tell you all about it great.
I’ll be doing a tutorial to try it out again but with my tried and true milk of magnesia and using a foundation brush. I used my real techniques sponge during my first go round. I think the brush will be better. As far as the first use I wasn’t impressed. I may change my tune the second time around.

The look I created the 2nd time around. Video Coming Soon!
Have you tried any new makeup products lately? Have you tried any of these products?
